Love the look of the car. Don't usually like private plates, but this one looks great!

Also interested in teh Cupra Bushes. How much were they including fitting? Also why did you get these done? Basically looking at probably getting mine done, due to un-even tyre wear. Are there any other benefits?

Thanks in Advance :D

Yeh i have never been a fan at all but this one was too good to pass up! I paid 15 quid delivered for the bushes off sere motors on here. Then 60 quid labour for fitting them, then i tracked it up with the help of my boss for free, so ended up coting me 75 quid. Apparently SEAT charge around 250 :|

I got them because i was sick of uneven tyre wear too, 2 months after buying the car the two front tyres were through to the chords on the fronts (13k miles) then my service on 18k the bloke said my tyres were wearing unevenly again. They also move around like mad when you corner and push the wheel towards the back of the arch, theres a vid somewhere showing how much they move. The lad that fitted mine is an ex vw tech that setup partnership and he said he could tell instantly the bushes made a difference, yet had never seen them before at vw. front end feels allot stiffer, feels less wallowy to me and just generally more solid!

not sure why ive never commented on this thread im always having a look.
really nice car you have i think you should get the legal spaced plates and have them pressed just my oppinion though cars looking great so far.
any other plans for it?

Cheers! Much appreciated. Think ill keep these on for now, got the legals in the boot, only take me a sec to change them over, might buy some pressed ones at some point and see which i like the most.

Got the flip key mod on the way, and a full spare set of rear lights to tint fully red. Then ill be keeping an eye out for some nice wheels i reckon, then probably leave it for awhile, except maybe new headunit and simple soundsystem.

Haha ill give it 2 weeks wiith that plate mate lol. Should get everyone from around here for a photo shoot after christmas . If my car is fixed that is!

coppers are sound arround here, hopefully should be fine, had that 3/4 one on my old corsa for a good 8 months at least and didnt get pulled for it!

lol, i thought yours was payed from the bank of mam anyways ;)

lol

Scott - Thanks very much for your answer. Think i'll get them ordered asap, and get them fitted over teh christmas break. Bonus if they also make teh car feel more stiff :) Lets hope this gets rid of the uneven tyre wear issues! Seems like you got a right bargain also!

No worries matey, really do like them. Dropped in at my mates place today to have two new front tyres fitted and he fits the solid bushes to every car now he knows of them, he loves them. Easier to fit than the standard ones too as they have a stainless casing whereas standard have a plastic one and they are easy to crack when fitting.

its the front rear wishbone bushes. The whole wishbone needs to come off ideally so i suppose if you got them done at the same time youd only have to get it tracked up once. I fitted my coilies and left my tracking for awhile as i needed new tyres in a couple of thousand anyway, then got the bushes fitted, car tracked up, wore the tyres out some more and had newuns fitted today. Need new rear ones aswell now though! Goddamn!
