Jetex Induction Kit/Cone Filter.

I've just taken the plunge and ordered one of the Jetex filters as well! hope the speedy deliverys are still happening! I took a look at the dual cone filters that Jetex do, but they are only rated to 250bhp, so presume they do not flow as freely... also, seeing as I am wanting a remap at some point, the car will be running around this figure, so wouldnt want it to be limiting available power!

Fingers crossed I am as pleased with it as everyone else seems to be!

And quite interested to see how the clip performs jon, keep us updated!

Ordered my FC08001 filter on Friday, but it's not arrived yet so don't get your hopes up for having it by the weekend!

Have a feeling they might have run out of stock again, so i'm about to send them an email!! i'm itching as i've already recieved my 80-76mm reducer hose and 80mm alloy joiner!

hurry up Mr.Jetex!

As the postage and packaging is pretty much 15% of the cost, you would hope to have recieved it in a couple days most

Fair enough to Jetex, Neil has emailed me straight back and said it was shipped on Monday. By all rights it should be here today, but i'll give it until tomorrow before i check the post office.

okey, so mum got home and said there was a note saying they had attempted to deliver something, and we werent in so it went to the sorting office, so i thought whoop thats the filter.

Mum gets to the sorting office, and its the silicon coupler so i was like but then as shes coming down the road back home, she sees the parcel force block getting back in his van outside our house, so flashes her headlights at him and pulls in front of him, and managed to get my air filter!!

God bless mums lol

Has anyone tried the Quickshift Stainless Steel Mesh Filters?

They don't use oil on them and supposed to be less restrictive.

was getting worried then untill i read the rest of the thread! adds to the excitement i suppose, not knowin when I'll get it!

how does it sound as well? I didn't get it thinking it was going to add loads of bhp, a lot of the reason was for a meatier sound as well!

Impressive, so the gains people are seeing are consistant.

tbh it was hard to tell any difference because the roads were wet so was getting quite a lot of wheelspin. plus the tube for my boost gauge is caught somewhere and making a weird whistling sound which was off-putting lol.

Would be interesting to see it on the rollers again just to see what difference that has made

I think this thread has saved me alot of money, my mate has the CDA on his LCR and doesnt really feel that much different from my standard airbox.

Anyways just orderd the 80mm Jetex, lets hope it lives up to expectations!!

CDA/BMC is too restrictive on any engine producing more than 200hp. Its not nice to post up telling somebody that thier air filter system is not up to the task, it ca come across misconscrewed. I shudder when i read the MONSTER BMC group buy, but nobody likes a party pooper.
More converted Jetex fans, you really can't beat them value for money.
