I dont think it's doable in real carbon mate.

yes funny you mention that, sent today, for delivery tomorrow or wednesday
although you will get a chance to see them before me and see what the quality is like as I wont be back in the office to collect them until next week

In all honesty, I don't know. In the photos they look a bit large, as if they go over, but then look around the hinge and they seem to sit flush. Personally, as long as they're not too bulbous, I don't mind either way, but I'll let you know (hopefully tomorrow/later)
The CF mirror covers turned up today. Yes, they go over the existing mirror covers, and they're VERY thin, but the CF looks decent. I'll get some photos on later

Not had a chance to get an opinion yet guys, I got home at 4:30 to find an out-card. Ran to the sorting-office before they closed at 5 and picked them up. Got home and had a quick look while sat in the car still, but being dark I didn't get a proper look. Will get them out of the packaging in a bit and properly assess them, and see how well they fit tomorrow. Will need to get something to bond them to the mirrors, but won't do that unless I'm sure that I like them.
If I had one complaint, it would be that the lines of the mirrors aren't very defined on these covers, but you could see that on the photos.

So the product you have received is not anything like as good from what is shown in the pictures on eBay?
Well I won't shoot the guy down yet untill I get a better picture from yourself of what the product is like but initially it does not sound very promising.....
It seems OK, but I was hoping for more. I thought it seemed like a very good price mind you. I'm going 2 hold them in place on the mirrors and see what I really think tomorrow before I decide. I'm a little disappointed but not massively. They're very slim, so they should fit without making the mirrors considerably larger, and they ARE carbon fibre, and they look OK

The old age saying of you get what you pay for. Although to be fair I would not want the mirrors to look bulky so one good thing about the covers in that sense! I think once I get the CF bonnet they would look better too

actually they look pretty OK (better than I thought from how you were describing them), but fitment will clearly be an issue with either one of the two mirrors clearly not being identical
