Very nice car, looks at home on the track, love the motorsport look and the interior. Will be amazing with TB's...

my cousin has a Nova 2.0 16v with SBD motorsport built engine 245bhp with TB's and its one of the craziest cars and sounding cars I've been in.... instant power. So I know your cars going to be something else, can't wait to see this.

The figures I have been told to expect are figures that some people would laugh at with a standard bottom end... Like they said that 268 cams won't run or pass emissions on the standard ecu and mine did!

Been told to expect no more than 215bhp

It's not the figures that the bottom end will or won't take - it's the rev's

As Phil alludes to, 20VT, don't bother with chasing the n/a route, it only ends up in hurt, and severe expense

be rev'ing to 7800rpm using solid valves and springs to suit. Throttle bodies is something i've always wanted since getting the car and i have priced up the 20vt route in the past. And the money i'm going spend could get me a 20vt and push 300+ bhp but isnt going to sound as good lol

They sell Golf+ in Tesco where you are, lucky sod. They don't in Wales, I had to go to WH Smith lol.

yeah we have a massive tesco, tesco extra i think it is very nice car you got!

how did you get it in the mag? did you just write to them?

Well the car's been at Saxon a bit longer than planned, I'm having a new manifold and exhaust system built because he recommend a different design that would suit my spec a bit better! (3/4 primaries into 2 1/2 system, with motorsport silencers and I'm changing the tailpipe to a small oval).

Also last night I ordered myself a set of polycabonate windows with sliders, same desgin as the pic below:

Hopefully I should have the car back before xmas!
