how can you locate the whistle to the DV ?
The only difference on my car is the dump noise. The turbo whistle is the same in both configurations.
NO the whistle is from the DV 100%, only way i can explain it is the vacuum from the manifold pressure doubled up with the boost acting on the bottom of the piston has enough pressure to overcome the spring, and due the the turbo still being spooled a constant slight boost whistle can be heard,
its the same noise as the chirp but as a constant slight whistle,
windows up, radio off, stereo off and around 60-70 float your accelerator very slightly onn and off you'll be able to purposely make it drop boost, causing a slight whistle
