In total it took me around 5 hours to complete including the logo painting

what did you use to clean the manifold?

I used Autosol, have tried Meguiars All Metal Polish before which works well too.

Ok mate the process was;

Make sure the engine is cool
Protect all sensitive electrical parts with kitchen foil/clingfilm
Spray the engine bay with Meguiars Super Degreaser
Agitate dirt/grime with various brushes (OLD toothbrushes are ideal)
Carefully rinse with a spray of water from a hose (Not a pressure washer or jet of water)
Remove kitchen foil/clingfilm
Dry with microfibre cloths
Autosol to clean the Manifold
Autoglym Vinyl and Rubber protectant applied and wiped with a microfibre
Poorboys QW+ (Spray wax) on all paintwork
Stand and admire the finished result
