Well you know what mate, dont read my post's
Dont care what you think, let me guess you have a masters degree in automotive engineering or your a mechanic for ferrari, oo oo lets guess bugatti?
A flame is a flame yeh, an explosion is what pushes the piston down? Correct, a flame is a flame, a lighter flame a bonfire flame or a cooker flame?
So what about diesels? Explosion again, only a diesel explosion is more intense, hence why diesels need stronger con rods and cranks, the piston doesnt take the force of the explostion it simply goes up and down, its the con rods and crank what take the force hence why people change them for forged ones right? Pistons are usualy changed to alter compression ratio's either lowerd or increased yes?
Ok right, so we move onto fuel, explosion isnt like on movies or as you think BOOM and things fly everywhere and smoke and fire etc.
So lets define explosion -
•An explosion is a sudden increase in volume and release of energy in an extreme manner, usually with the generation of high temperatures.
Right so there you go, as fuel ignites, it creates energy yea? and the gasses expand, pushing the piston down right? As a byproduct of this we have a gas which we then need to get rid of, so thats where we get exhaust gases from yea?
Stuff like knocking/pinking is going into when the fuel ignites and how it ignites which is a diffrent matter all together and is nothing to do with spark plugs.
If you question my knowledge feel free to, everyone has diffrent ways of explaining things yeah? Or is it we all have to know your way, and your way only?
A 1.99 spark plug and a 5.99 spark plug both copper core produce near enough the same spark, the reason the dearer one is better is due to the fact they probably last longer? There again, a cheaper plug can last just as long as an NGK? Everything has a life span doesnt it? The guy asked what plugs should i buy, a spark plug is a spark plug, it does one job and one job only, to ignite the fuel/air mixture. Stuff like iridium plugs i think i said make little or no diffrence in the car unless your runing a highly tuned engine which you can get benifits of decent plugs and decent fuel.
I simply dont care what you think about my knowledge to be honest, as long as i know what i know im a happy bunny. People sit behind there computer and say this and that and im right na na na, its a public forum, everyone is entitled to say their peice arent they? If not then why dont we just have you replying mr know it all?
