what spark plugs should i buy???

hi

i have recently bought a LCR 210, want to change the spark plugs but dont want to buy some that disagree with the car

what would you guys recommend???

would be good to get three options

1) cost effective option
2) average plugs
3) top brand plugs

i found the OEM ngk ones to be the best PFR6Q about a tenner each.
Never found bosch any good used the super 4s and found no difference in power whatsoever
Denso are good but expensive

Now i will always stick to ngk

let them by the nice denso as the utter shite...Even Billy will wouch for this...

my ik22 were brand new and lasted 10minutes on idle with zero throttle and tottaled my new supertech exhaust vavles and a nice whole in the piston...

Engine was a fully uprated ££££ 20vt...But i was very lucky...

Spark plugs wont make a diffrence .. FACT! Stuff like iriduim and platinum plugs are made due to the life span of them compared to the usual copper core. Just banging super4's in you arent going to get better throttle response or anything so expecting that is a bit stupid. If your going to get any, just get the NGK platinums about 30 - 35 quid at a decent motor factors. Stuff like improved fuel consumption etc is just a load of bollocks and is there purely for marketing, fuel consumption is based on many factors, tyre pressues, weight in the car, engine condition, poor oil and good spark plugs they wont improve nothing, only way to make a diffrence to your car is good oil thats changed regular, 98ron fuel, and fresh plugs every 10 - 12k.

Buy the NGK plugs. I'm a mechanic and decent plugs do make a difference! Cheap plugs will only fail earlier and can also break off the end in the bore.
Saying that plugs will make no difference, why do you think race cars start up on one set of plugs, then get changed just before the race starts when the engine is hot? It's so the plugs are suited better for the temp of the engine.
A decent spark will mean a better flame in the combustion chamber giving more power output!!!

Tolernces and clearances in an F1 engine are so fine, the engine is effectivly seized when its cold, F1 technology and a 1.8t that has done a fair few miles is such a big diffrence. Aso F1 cars run on race fuel and not stuff you get out the pumps, also the power they put out and the heat they generate is nothing on a roadcar even with stage 2. In a road car a spark plug is a spark plug, NGK are the same as OEM plugs, just OEM are branded VAG. Unless your playing about with a highly tuned engine, you arent going to benifit from iridum plugs.. FACT, so save your money and buy OEM plugs, if your running a mapped engine then of course some say try a heat range colder. Ive heard it all before im a mechanic i know this and that, so am i mate, but at the end of the day a plug is a plug, Why would anyone choose to use shitters over OEM plugs? There is a known issue with the Denso's and i think there aware of it, so if theres a known issue then dont use them.. simples.

Also what does a better flame mean? You using flame plugs now, i thought better plugs produced a better spark my self, which in turn ignites the fuel more effeicently? OEM plugs are fine for use on standard and mapped cars. If your running a hybrid turbo etc and your car is mapped with iridum plugs and decent fuel then your more likely to see a diffrence, in the real world it wont give you bhp or aceleration.

Formula 1 fuel is virtually the same as normal pump fuel, containing only the same compounds and "ingredients". The only difference is that the production is much tighter controlled to give consistent blends to ensure that engine setup isn't compromised.
