Thought I'd take some pics of the motor today after hours of cleaning inside and out.

Don't have it any more mate but for the money it went quite loud. The sound quality wasn't great, it was quite boomy, but I didn't mind
It's a nice colour but it's deep green, mine is more turquoisey
Well here's a pic of my brake discs/pads, tyres, coilover kit, new smoked face gauges on the Jamex box, new top mounts, TIP in the background
Weather was aweful, didn't enjoy fitting the suspension at all and getting the new pads over the disc was a PITA but got them on it the end with help from gramps .
The new kit is so slimlined compared to my previous kit, and there was play in the top mounts, when I removed the strut the bearing had shattered on both sides. So in new ones went. In the pic it is wound right up but afterwards we took the wheel back off and wound it down a couple inches Main reason for fitting was comfort and the adjustability as I couldn't get up ramps in a repair garage for MOTs etc with the old kit. Not had chance to test it out yet but I'll post results tonight

Got 20mm spacers at my mums too and a front ARB so I can drop the coilies lowwwwwwww
Stage 2 map deposit paid with Will for this Monday at 1pm Been a long time coming.
Fitted my new gauges today, they look great with the smoked mirror screen when turned off. Hoping to fit the seats and splitter this weekend, will post up pictures.

Mate it's been mega difficult to fit it in what with this weather and only being home on the weekends where the tools are.
btw car was in garage yesterday, had the ARB fitted, inner and outer CV gaitor on passenger side supplied and fitted, came to £100 and ready in 4 hours which was a relief

My gaitor came today, the gaitor and drive shaft nut were over £20, my stuffs being fitted on thursday fingers crossed
Is Will doing a deal on the stage 2 maps or just the stage 1?
I was getting mine mapped this month but moneys is super tight what with christmas/birthdays etc so not sure I can get it done yet

Mate only just seen this! For some reason it didn't show up in my control panel. He's doing a deal on the stage 1's at the moment but I'm paying extra for the stage 2. Being done tomorrow at 1pm
Here's a couple pics of my TIP fitment yesterday, was abit fiddly getting the pipe screwed onto the turbo inlet but a long shafted screwdriver and a well jacked up car did the job tidy. Also took a pic of the FK ARB to show clearance for lowering
Extra responsive now! And I love the way the DV is mounted on view whereas before it was hidden and hard to access.

Nice one mate, I've now sorted my DS rubbing on my ARB by chopping the droplinks and fitting the Superpro bushes.

Yeah I got a set of the Heko ones, there sitting in the kitchen as I'm not allowed them until christmas

Pre-remap wash (well started on the front end and wheels and it started raining lol ) and gloss-blacked splitter on show
Much prefer those new gauges as they match the interior and black out when ignition is off. Got some Cupra honeycomb grilles to fit either side of the Seat badge up front instead of mesh Also got the Corbeau seats to fit this weekend, the wind deflectors and that'll be it for a while!
Will update this thread with remap info and pics.
