Hi to all.My Brother in law has a Leon Cupra R,2004/54.He has lost the locking wheelbolt adapter.Seat have most un helpfull.£50 for a new set + parts & labour to remove bolts.
It is the male spline type. Are these all different on each Cupra??The only reason i ask is i cant seem to see many variations in the way it could be made different.I`ve done a search but did`nt find any help.
I think it is looking like i shall be drilling them off myself:(.I did mine a few years ago & did`nt enjoy it.

go to a different dealer. (ring them first, not all have a locking wheel nut set)
my local skoda dealer had a complete set and were happy to lend me the set while i removed /replaced the bolts there and then.

The locking buts are not all the same on each cupra, the set the dealers lent me had about 30 different key types.

Dealer is taking the piss. Go to another Seat dealer.

They generally have the range of wheel nut keys and it cost me £20 for a replacement key if i remember correctly. I took my borthers car along, the parts guy came out with a handful, tried them, found the right one and then ordered it there and then. Got it within 3 days.

Personally I would get the dealer to take the nuts out, shouldn't cost more than £10-15. YThen get youyrself a set of McGard locks.
