Abit confused mate, you were the one that recommended the Carlack to me after seeing you use it when you done the full valet on my LCR. When should i be using it?
Yes because its a very good All-in-One product, that cleanses the paint work and protects in one application.
SRP is a similar product however with fillers. When you apply one after the other in any order your just stripping away the product before it because thats what the cleaning agents do.
The cleaning process should go something like this and lets assume the car doesn't need claying.
1) Wash Wheels
2) Rinse buckets and apply fresh wash solution
3) Wash car
4) Dry Car
5) Autoglym SRP on alloys. Works well on alloys! Buff off as normal.
6) CarLack68 Nano on paint work. Leave to cure on paint work for 25-35 minutes
7) Buff off the carlack
8) Use a wax of choice to give that extra warmth to finish
9) Buff off. Make a sarny and enjoy the shine.
If you were going to clay the car first then I would opt for Autoglym SRP as its got a very light cut and will get rid of the marring a clay bar leaves behind.
