Need to leave it nice a comfy, doing over 700miles a week, so no big rims with rubber bands for tyres just yet. haha.

yeah, i hear you...

But imagine turning up to your meeting sporting some 20'' rims and dumping it on air !

(thinking about it that would probably just ask you to leave)

switches = bitches but i am guessing your a happily married and that sort of thing wouldn’t appeal to you

Nice

Looks just like my Exeo... ;)

Don't forget the Audi RS4 rear ARB mod, gennuine parts are available from Audi for about £80. Stops the back-end from rolling like a b****d ;)

Will that effect the ride quality though? I want it nice and comfy for long journeys, not hard and crashy?

Wonder if a 2006 A4 still shares the same suspension design with B5 Passats - ie 4 suspension arms per side at the front ?

I put a Bilstein B12 suspension kit on my Passat, which really improved the barge-like handling, but it remains comfortable for family use too.

Gave the A4 a good wash today, took me 3.5hrs to do the outside. Going to do the inside over the weekend. But thought i would show some pics of how it turned out.

Sorry to do this Deano but I can resist lol :)

DeepCrystal, SRP, CarLack are all the same type of products, so if you used them one after each other then the product after strips the product before it.

Looks amazing anyhow :)

Well spoted JonJay, i used the SRP on the body and the DeepCrystal on the front bumper (for some reason worked beter than the SRP), then the Carlack over the top as suggested by yourself. Then the Wax ontop. Please don't tell me i have been doing it wrong the whole time. ????

I am not that familiar with deep crystal however SRP has cleansers, very very mild cut and a lot of fillers to mask the swirls. Applying CarLack after SRP is not a good idea as CarLack is an all in one sealant that cleanses the paintwork and leaves behind an acrylic sealant. It would have removed all the filling properties and protectants from SRP for sure. What would have been better was not to apply the carlack and gone straight to a wax.

Hope this helps :)

Abit confused mate, you were the one that recommended the Carlack to me after seeing you use it when you done the full valet on my LCR. When should i be using it?

Yes because its a very good All-in-One product, that cleanses the paint work and protects in one application.

SRP is a similar product however with fillers. When you apply one after the other in any order your just stripping away the product before it because thats what the cleaning agents do.

The cleaning process should go something like this and lets assume the car doesn't need claying.

1) Wash Wheels
2) Rinse buckets and apply fresh wash solution
3) Wash car
4) Dry Car
5) Autoglym SRP on alloys. Works well on alloys! Buff off as normal.
6) CarLack68 Nano on paint work. Leave to cure on paint work for 25-35 minutes
7) Buff off the carlack
8) Use a wax of choice to give that extra warmth to finish
9) Buff off. Make a sarny and enjoy the shine.

If you were going to clay the car first then I would opt for Autoglym SRP as its got a very light cut and will get rid of the marring a clay bar leaves behind.

Well after the clean the inevitable happened, it rained all bloody night. Soon i took some pics of the beeding after it stopped the next morning. (but only just had the time to upload them)
