not sure on crash bar fitment though, the pipework looks to go through the actual bar on that one.

fancy a fmic install, but not happy with going custom route tbh.

Does look a bit strange doesn't it

I know on ebay the kit they sell for the VRS and Leon is excatly the same as the golf kit with the exception of the MAP sensor.........Dan [Kenetic] has this kit fitted to his £250

looks quite small that one in comparison.. and im sure not direct fit.

may just bite the bullet and go forge one???

It does look quite small but to be honest I think its big enough? certainly would not be laggy.

The trouble with the Forge kit is [in my opinion] it uses the factory pipework to the turbo including the pancake pipe......I would personally want to replace this.

I spoke to Ollie at THS about 3 weeks ago regarding the golf kit. He said that because the piping runs through the crashbar it wouldn't fit the Leon. I then asked about the pipework to see if they'd sell separately as the alloy section with the map sensor looked a nice alternative to the forge one, said they wouldn't supply the pipework without the IC though

Is this the forge kit? if so the pictures look different to the leon kit although I'm not sure why as its the same engine.

If its not the Forge kit alot of the golf kits don't have the mounting for the MAP sensor.

Cowie...If possible I'd get a twinpass with the inlet and outlet further apart as that one in the link would mean you have to force the pipes outwards a bit to get them to fit.

I'd also use T bolt clamps not jubilees and bead the ends of the pipes.

And you'll need a MAP sensor tube and you'll also need a DV outlet and a N75 outlet and also some 25mm pipe and a 90deg 25mm bend to recirculate the DV back into the TIP.

Hope this helps.

Adam,am probably missing something here but why do i need DV and N75 outlets etc
am not moving these, thought all i need was the map sensor which i found at forge and the pipework to connect to new FMIC to the TB and the pancake pipe:blink:

Yeah sorry you need that if using custom pipework as you remove the standard one, you won't need it if your using the original pipe.

That's the map sensor tube your talking about yes Adam?
that's all that will be getting replaced from original, now whats with the DV and N75 stuff?

You don't need to worry as your not replacing the pipe they connect to..........forget me I forgot you were using a twinpass mate.
