If you need an actual oil level sensor I can give you mine as I'm not using it anymore.

I've submitted an ad in the for sale section for it.

First impressions are that it is very well made, very sturdy, good design, very smooth both inside and out. It's easier to get at the nuts to fit to the head too, alot easier than my previous ATP and TIG-ART manifolds. Will get some pics up over the weekend if poss. I'm fitting it to the head before I put the head back on the car, easier to get at the nuts with it on the bench.

Did your pins fit the IE rods ok or did they need easing a little, also how was the clearance of the big ends on the bearings, that procedure appears a little complicated (using the plasti gauge etc).

This is on the JBS website:

"JBS has spent a great deal of time researching the latest high temperature resistant cast steels. These cast steels have a high nickel content, having the following properties makes them ideal for our performance manifolds: resistance to corrosion, resistance to oxidisation and high temperatures (up to 1050 oC), resistance to wear and erosion."

Got another job done today, the oil filter relocation kit installed. Makes changing oil filters alot easier now, can even change it without having to jack the car up! The oil should run a little cooler too due to the filter being in a place where it gets a flow of fresh cool air now.

Where did you get the oil filter relocation from rob? And how much was it if you don't mind me asking? Wouldn't mind getting one as they are a PIA to change! Which would mean I would also change my oil more often :)

Looks brilliant by the way! I was tempted to buy your INA sump off you but then I hit a dead deer on the road yesterday and brought it back to me how easy it would be to smash it...

doesn't bolt to the gearbox.
Does not need to.
The gearbox support is only to provide closure for debris going into the flywheel.
The M7 bolts used to secure the pan do not really provide any sort of support for the gearbox mate.
Sorry to hear you wont be running the pan.
