not long brought a 51 plate cupra and its got a bit of a problem pulling through the gears. i dont no the best way to describe this but its ok when u put ur foot right down pulls like a train but at low revs or (half throttle building up the revs it starts to pull then it doesnt then it does again) bloody thing, was wondering if any 1 else has had a problem like this. ive put a new airflow meter on it and coolant temp sensor but still no better. also when u back of the throttle slightly it pops through the exhaust and doesnt deacclerate slowly, i really dont have a clue. it has a forged dump valve and a cat back exhaust. any help would be very very gratefull!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another old 200sx owner? ;)

You need to run some logs with VAGCOM fella... to see whats up with the car.

Checked DV? - When was serviced last?

Checked TB for cleanliness and readapt?

No point guessing and throwing money at it ... get VAGCOM and see what fault codes are showing.

Has it been remapped?

i think its due a service about now, last time it was on a diagnostic thing it only come up coolant temp sensor, changed that light went off after a couple of days but made no difference in holding back, light has come back on again and back 2 square 1. not checked the throttle body yet (not really sure where it is) no it hasnt been remapped just a dump valve and a cat back system
