As above, can anybody help?

There are loads of kracher ones on ebay for good money but there is so many different variants. 2.16, 2.61, 2.9. etc
What preassure do i want to clean my car, including blasting the arches etc?
i'd also like one with a detergent bowl for snowfoaming.

let us know what your using guy's;)

In my experience the detergent bowls are a waste of money unless your going to use it to clean the drive !

For snow foaming your only really effective option is a foam lance. Most pressure washers are catered for and a lance will cost you something like £50.

Factor that cost into the purchase price of the PW and go for something with around 110psi. You wont need anything more than that for domestic use.

The one i have cost me £90 from Argos, add the £50 for the foam lance and its still pretty cheap. The only thing mine doesnt have (which i wish it did) is an adjustable spread and pressure on the normal lance.

Link to a thread I created when I went on a little spending spree, the washer I bought is plenty good enough to tackle car washing, you don't need anything too powerful, the key to getting your car nice and clean is in the products you use and the steps you take, not how much power the pressure washer can pump out. I used to use a 150psi washer and while it didn't cause any problems with the paintwork it didn't make the cleaning process any easier, my advice is spend a bit of coin on some decent car cleaning stuff, Shampoo's, pre-wash and waxes and you will find it takes a lot of the effort out of getting the car looking nice and shiny :)

cheers guys! looks like you had a good old spending spree on that thread crafoo!

I'm off to ebay then. My last preassure washer cracked in the shed over winter last year so i've just been using a hose and trigger over the summer. I now want something as i have a few jobs round the house to do and want to rinse all that nasty salty off over the coming winter!

Yeah I was bored and had my wallet in sight, never a good thing lol, the worrying thing is I could have very easily spent the same again and still been left wanting to buy more lol. eBay worked for me fella just keep your eyes on a few and no doubt you will get a bargain.

Absolutely, thats good advice, I hardly ever get my pressure washer out.
I dont have a foam lance just yet tho so that will change when I do.
