Zinc coated discs?

HI

Just about to order some grooved discs from CRN and not sure if I shouod go for the ZINC coated option. Its and extra £25.00 but would be worth it if it stops them rusting. I usually paint the inners of the discs in HT paint but this does not of course stop the outer edge rusting. Anyone have any experience of this, does it really stop them rusting inthe long term or would I be wating my money?

yes i have bought from crn. i have gold zinc disks. i would say have them dipped in zinc. they look brand new all the time. worth every penny

Yeah but the point is the bits that dont get worn dont go rusty

the face wears off but nothing else does. also the face doesnt rust due to using the brakes. so the disks always look good.
id recommend them to everyone.
