Hello all,
Whats the average mpg of a cupra diesel? And what is the best you can get?

I've had mine for the best part of a week, and seem to be getting low 40's on a 13mile (each way) trip to work, but I've still got the grin factor, so every now and again my right foot takes over.

I get 350 miles to a tank, thats a mix of motorway and town driving 39mpg

Best i've ever got is 400 which is about 43 mpg.

I calculate the mpg by filling to the brim, running till tank says 0 miles then filling to brim a gain, the computer is never accurate as it often says 48mpg.

40-45mpg on my 5mile 10-15min journey to work.

on the motorway sticking to speed limits 48-50mpg easily.

just did a 400mile motorway journey and the trip computer says 200miles till empty tank.

having fun drops it to 30mpg :D

(all mpgs figures are from the trip computer i keep forgetting to check it properly)

I brim my tank then add a bit more with the venting trick. Usually around 45ltr. I usually get 450 to 550 miles to a tank depending on how I drive. I usually do 40-50 miles each way to work and most is on the motorway.

Did cardiff and back this weekend and still have some left 470miles so far £42 fill.

i had a ibiza sport130pd remapped to 170 my mpg was much better in that, could do 65mpg on motorways stickin to 65-70mph, however i noticed in that when i stuck at 80mph the revs were at 2000rpm, however i notice now in the cupra tdi remaped that at best i get 56mpg stickin at 65-70mpg and that when you stick at 80mph the revs are about 2500rpm, think the cupra just geared more for performance!

I'm currently getting just over 50mpg on this tank. I'd done 220 miles with the dial showing half. I know this ain't too accurate so I filled up earlier for £22, so it was near enough half. Approx £10 per 100 miles - happy days!

That half tank included an 80 miles motorway trip (with about 16 miles of stop start) and just B road driving, some of which spirited. I'm pleased with, especially coming from a 330ci where 30mpg was achievable if you tickled the go pedal!

It's always entertaining watching the trip computer and the mpg showing 150 or something.

Had mine since new (57 plate) and after doing 47k miles always average between 380 - 410 miles from a tank.

Return journey to work is 70 miles. Mixture of A/B roads and stop/start town traffic.

It was also remapped after 6k to about 195 bhp/300 lbs torque

I can get mine down to 16mpg regularly when getting a move on (circuit) :p with mid 50's while driving like miss daisy on the road with the usual morrons;)
