That iTunes thing does it upload the rating you give tracks locally? I tend to give things 5 star ratings to make it easy to get the stuff I like onto the iPhone to play in the car

Not as far as I am aware, but now you mention it I wonder how Genius links you from the store to things you like (I guess it depends of what you purchase from them rather than what you upload yourself). So the straight answer I guess is: Apologies, I don't know!

Complete mystery to me then - if it says it's me then it must be but i've no idea how they got there. I never did like iTunes and only use it because i'm forced to. If the iPhone had a 'dump music here' option i'd be much happier

They actually have written narrative next to them so assumed it must have been you (within the store). Go to your iTunes account and check under reviews.

Almost there - just got the amp rack to make now

That's the amp 'rack' started. It's curved so it sits flush with the boot floor and this time i've measured it ( 4 times) so i know it will fit. I'll remove the sound deadening above where the amps sit and replace it with 'brown bread' which won't drop anything into the amp and will keep me satisfied that i'm not driving a potential bonfire.

Got to trim those 4 dowel pieces with carpet, screw them down to the base board then screw the top amp down onto them. Once that's done I need to screw on the fuse holders and power splitters but I reckon that will be tomorrows job cos there's a chinese on the way

Snug ... but it all clicks into life with no burning smells. Had to remove the crap sound deadening off the shelf - will replace that with 2 layers of brownbread over the weekend

That's it for this year - it's getting too cold to be doing stuff with the car.

So the hardtop is on and it's had one final polish and wax to see it through the winter.

It's because i work at the bottom of the V10 now - i rarely venture further into MK than that these days .... also been away quite a few weekends in Hampshire seeing friends.

It's a right laugh in 2nd gear as you hit the vtec coming off them, although the driving style is different with this, slow in, drive around the corner then nail it once the wheels are pointing in a straight line again.

Can't drive it like the Leon arriving at corners and standing on the brakes .... tried that once, decided against it

Today being the last 'decent' day before the cold sets in, I thought it was a good day for an end of season wax.

And yes, before anyone says .... i do get almost as much enjoyment from cleaning it as from driving it. Nattys blue wax smells good enough to eat
