Hi Guys,

I've got a 08 plate 1.4Tsi Stylance with 14000 on the clock, and theres something that keeps bugging me. there is a weird clicking noise from the driver side front wheel when accellerating. Seat have had this back, and cant find anything wrong, they say "it's probably just a stone" but it keeps coming back, have any of you heard of this or got any thoughts on what it could be?

Thanks in advance

Got a similar noise on my FR TDI seems to be coming from the drivers side front wheel.I've had a look for stones but can't see any so will ask the dealer to have a look when I am in for my recall tomorrow.

Car is driving fine but the noise is a little annoying.

Only had the car 2 months and it's only done 2600 miles

I had a squeek in my beeza that happened with every wheel revolution. Took the wheel off and there was a little stone in between the brake pad and disc. Used a clothes hanger to pull it out. Could be a similar problem you have!

Apparently according to the technician who went on a drive with me it's the High Pressure Diesel pump compared it to an Exeo with the same engine and the both made the same noise

Yes but the OP is talking about a TSI... there's no diesel pump in that.

Yes I know he is talking about a 1.4 TSI all I am saying is that what noise I thought "May" have been similar to the OP's was in fact the Diesel Pump and not a stone in the brakes etc.
