Crazy HDR pics of my Leon

I had my car paint resprayed in dec last year (2002 Leon)

On friday I took a few pics of the car ...

clickable thumbnails



and created a couple of crazy HDR images

cheers pal! do you need just the one? i heard that you need 3 pics,one normal,one overexposed and one underexposed, can you do it with just the one pic?

If you have 3 pics (normal, over and under exposed) then it would make it easyer, but if not I can still do it with photoshop and photomatix ;)

Both HDR have similar values, I do not know why one will have a strong halo and not the other , probably because the first was taken with vs the light of the sky :shrug:

I use a program called QTPFSGUI

I use a program called QTPFSGUI

your better off using an exposure range of +2 0 -2

and as for using the same settings for the hdr..each picture should vary

I personaly dont like the the over HDR'd pics, its not what HDR is about.

A proper HDR should look natural but with detail.

what's the process if you've only got the 1 image then?
Use photoshop to create 3+ photos at different settings, then import into photomatrix?
