They are very tempting, on a silver/white/black car, in fluorescent blue!

I don't think u can get a more bold move than fluorescent orange wheels on a blue car can you??

get the 110.. you'll save the £250 difference in insurance by simply driving a more fuel efficient car...

The money I save on fuel baffles me... I said to a guy at work today... that time of the month init... time to fill the car with diesel.... it really does last me neatly a month, and I'm ding like 9-11k a year..

Shame to hear about your driveshaft man... Oh well, you'll fix it!

Anyway, how much did your straight through exhaust set you back?

Cheers.

I think I've sorted the problem, well AmD have, exhaust cost me £160 for milltek downpipe and £150 for straight through cat back :)

well i've been weighing up my options, and think im gonna get the 110tdi, alloys and straight through. (and sub of course!)

Then, when i got my no claims bonus (after 6 months with endsleigh's student insurance) think more about mods. I believe 110bhp is more than enough for a first few months of driving.

Diesel is the way forward with the amount of money you save. i also think my dad is gonna give a hand towards insurance payments, roughly £500 towards it, so the difference in price doesnt really make that much difference.

Cheers for your help convincing me to get the diesel, i'll need to save for a bit longer tho coz the 1.9 TDI are more expensive than the 1.4 16v petrol, but it will be worth it.

Ben.
