I picked up a set of teardrop mirrors off an '04 Leon recently, along with a mint set of gloss black covers, so I fitted them this morning:

They seem way better made than the old mirrors, chunky and robust, my old squarer-shaped ones feel quite flimsy by comparison. The new ones are a much nicer shape, more modern looking.

I was actually thinking that you should upgrade your mirrors to the tear drop ones the other day when I looked at your recent pics!

Rob are those mirrors a direct bolt on, in terms of physical fitment and wiring too?

My old ones did too, these new ones plugged straight in with the same wiring so I'm guessing they're heated too.

push the rear demister button, wait a few seconds and touch the glass to see if it warm or not! thats what I did when I first got my car to check whether or not I had heated mirrors.
