 Just add things like "I think..." or " When I did it..." to your posts!

Lol  I'll bear that in mind next time I find something I MIGHT be able to answer lol.

My best subjects at the moment are door speakers, and basic 1.8T questions, but Damo is the bloke to ask for engine related things

is there many people with spacers on without there car sitting any lower than standard?

I've not lowered mine, but put the spacers on cos it looks much better and feels more solid on the road.

Before

After

Sorry about the quality of the photo's - I can't seem to take a decent picture to save my life

As for the 'oldy' posters, I was looking through various threads the other day and quite a few of them are banned. Don't know what for...

lol good to see you are still about then, educating the newbies we were there once!
Think I am going to buy from Badger 5 as when I did a search originally alot of people have bought from him. You lot going to Edition then?

I'm going to edition 38 :D I'll be on another club stand from my local area though. Will be there both saturday and sunday, but not camping.

Costing me alot more than I thought but I will loose my locking wheel nuts (I prefer to use longer bolts on the ones I want to get) so gotta pay extra for them and 5% for pay pal so costing more but know I am getting the right things and have had lots of problems lately with wrong bits it's doing my head in!

I haven't got any spacers and have decked my car! wheel fits tighter into the arch without the spacer and can run slightly larger tyres!

for standard however, spacers are a must, looks much better in my opinion!

Half the fun is camping cos you will get more of a chance to chat to people and they will bring the fire pit/BBQ and cook burger for everyone. You will miss out not camping IMO but glad you are coming, I will be coming too now:)

I'll be on the VagOwners stand. Half our lot are camping, but theres 6 or 7 cars worth staying in a hotel nearby so we get a comfy bed and a piss up lol. I'd quite like to camp to be honest, but I get dragged into the hotel with the rest of the guys my age lol. It's a good weekend though, by far the best show of the year! Maybe next year I'll be on the SCN stand. I've never been to a show with SCN so I don't really know anyone! Doesn't help that I'm quite shy round new people too lol

This thread is going waaay off topic now lol, sorry!

I'll make sure I do. Would be nice to be on a stand with other Seats to be honest. The people in my local lot have a preference for VW's and Audi's so being a Seat owner I get relegated to the back and it's starting to irritate me! :ban:

That's not on!

Update on the spacers situation, I was looking to get the ones you get longer wheel bolts for then realised you have the then buy locking wheel nuts as well, plus VAT plus pay pal fee plus postage came to £150!
So gone back to looking at ones the go straight on I felt maybe these were not as safe for some reason?
The quotes from sponsors on here were fair but I am going to buy the ones in the link a few people on here have. The money I save can then be spent on some more top notch car cleaning products to build up my collection as since my detail I want to keep the paint swirl free!
Thanks for your help people again.

£150??!! I got mine for £50 with longer bolts and longer locking bolts. But they were 2nd hand lol ;) I recommend you get some copper grease for when you fit the spacers. I didn't bother on my last car and the effort to get them back off again was unbelieveable! It felt like they were welded on

I had my car detailed last year, but it's in a terrible state now. Everytime I wash my car at a show it gets worse because there's no facilities such as hoses :ban: So I'm forever making my car worse  cost me a fortune for the detail as well. I want it done again at some point, perhaps next year in time for the show season, but I will be refusing to wash my car at a show again :)

I'm really confused,
I bought 20mm hucentric spacers, They bolt onto the hub then I use the original bolts to bolt that onto the wheel (So keeping the locking nuts)

£60.

i bought the ac motorsport ones...cost about 55 quid, came with the longer bolts which bolted to the hub then the originals to the spacers, made quite a big difference to handling!
