today i put hids onto the arosa and was wonder how others have done it??

heres how i did mine

first removal of the lights and bumper

erm I dunno if I got H4 OR H7 :shrug: I got A MK1 arosa & wouldn't mind upgrading the headlights, any info most welcome

MK1 Arosa will use the H4 Type bulbs.

I would recommend a company on the net called HIDs4u. They're a great bunch of guys to deal with and are very helpful.

Have a look on google and you'll probably find some discount codes too! :)

I would've said you don't need to remove the bumper and clusters, but it does make the job look cleaner. Some of the DIY HID installs out there are scarily bad.

it depends how well hidden you want everything (where the ballast are you'd never get to those holes with the bumper on)! the only reason for removing the lamps was to change the sidelight and indicator bulbs as i could not get to them:lol:
