Just wondering, what is the most bhp a standerd mk3 turbo can take and the most psi the standerd mk3 actuator can take??

turbo wise with supporting mods your looking at 200-210 bhp on a k03
as far as the actuator dont go playing with it just get the car mapped so the fueling is spot on also, messing with the actuator is asking for trouble
220bhp maximum on a K03 running high boost with an aftermarket boost controller, air filter, FMIC, downpipe/decat an full system an a remap
Am not planning on messen whit the actuator mate its just cuz when i had my rs i had to upgrade the actuator when i got the boost increased??
Dont know whether the cupra is the same?? Am gonna get a custom code remap stage 1, Dont know what the boost is puttin up to after this??

how come the ko3 can only go to 220bhp with the above parts and remap but the mk4 cupra with k03s can go to 240bhp with nearly the same parts?

...myki 220bhp on a k03 are you sure...??? If it was possible then surely it would only be with huge boost spike with that power for about a second then not long before it goes pop...but are we talking a maximum reliable bhp for the k03...if your planing on trying to max it out then dont be expecting it to last long...you wont need to do anything with the actuator on stage 1...altho im going to give mine a slight fiddle when i get my boost gauge all fitted...

Yes 220bhp is possible with the right mods mate. There was even talk ages ago of Alex now at backdraft, running near 250bhp on a K03.
Forge do an uprated actuator for the K03, is this really a replacement if the standard one fails?
250...must of been a freak k03 on steroids...considering most people on stage2 on a k03 only just manage about 210 although i spose it would be mapped for reliability aswell...
doesnt look like a bad bit of kit that ver adjustable also able to take it apart for a service which is allways good...
why not? i thought k03s was just an updated version of the k03. obviously not if there able to cope with two different amouts of bhp but what is the difference out of intrest.

Compressor housing is 39.5ml opposed to 37ml
K03S Turbos have 0052/0053 in the serial number and they usually are 704D/704S/704T
Larger main vein and larger continuation
Only one vac line off of the actuator (2 on K03)
You can get silenced and unsilenced K03S turbos, but not silenced K03s
