Fitted my boost gauge and it shakes like mad on tick over makes a wierd noise sometimes, Read on here about the special t pieces for this, But mines a diesel so it plumbed into the plastic boost pipe. How can i stop it??
I'm no expert but I think you need to reduce the amount of boost going into the gauge with a little pressure ruducer plug thingy that has like a small pin hole in it.
Just cut the pipe you have going to the boost gauge and put the T in with the part with the little brass reducer going to the gauge. Then use a little of the spare hose you should have left from installing the gauge and put in on the end of the T you dont need, the just folt the pipe over and put a cable tie round it to keep it bent and it will block it off.

Open the bonnet and look at the left hand side, you will see the cable for the bonet relese. Thats where I put mine through. You can take the cover off the fuse box on the end of the dash to retrieve it.

Took me bloody ages, I used the original rubber grommets that the bonnet release used by stretching them and threading it through, It will come through where the bonnet cable is, when you got your hand up there pull back the sound deadening and you should feel it
