Most out of a MK2 tank

This open to all MK2 owners of all engines... whats the most you've got out of a tank of fuel in a mk2 Ibiza?

My 2.0 8v just did 383.8 miles on a tank of super from the off click on the pump until the needle was on the bottom red line of the fuel guage.

I had 45 litres in the tank so 38.38 MPG average and thats with the usual blast out of work once warmed .

Edit: Did average 40.0 mpg over 1,000 miles last summer, not sure how many miles per tank that equates to!

i'm with you, my journies are not exactly mpg efficent lately - not bad on a run though

did see a 85+mpg on screen a while back for 1/2 a mile, but resetting it on fly and slipstreaming no throttle is cheating - looked impressive for about 10 sec though lol

most I have done on one tank is 610 but I normaly get around 500.
oh the joys of diesel :~)

Maf reads around 75mpg with the tunning box fitted and reads about right without it fitted.

think i get about 250! round town reads about 25 mpg,on a run anything up to 39ish. haven't tanked her for ages though,will try it for the national and see what we get

£40 gets me 450ish miles driving sensibly.. 300 thrashing the tits of it

Driving down a mountain pass while seriously low on fuel! coasting whenever I could, for about 50mins. still managed to despatch our friends who were following us in the van though - the more speed i carried through the corners, the less throttle i needed on the straights!

i got 99.9MPG....but i was being towed by a RAC van (seriously it showed it for 5miles, as i had to turn ignition for powersteering hahaha)

I did that in my old cordy rolling down a very steep long hill, shame i did about 15mpg going up it!

I managed 41.5 mpg on the way to Loughborough earlier, and 29.2 on the way back just now.
Always seems to happen that way when the roads are quiet......

Well I went to Inters and it cost me a tank and just under a 1/4, PhilW in the Mk3 Cupra only used half a tank lmao..... I Love Cam's and shorter box

anything form 400-600. I got 600 whilst purposefully driving sensibly. Down to 400 at the moment maybe less as iv'e been doing alot of rushing about the place on b roads with lots of overtakes and sharp corners to navigate. The joys of tdi

full 45 quid asda runs 360miles but any other stations and it like 300 loss of 60miles!!!!

i just got 500 odd miles to a full tank, some sensible driving but i do have to admit i have a bit of a lead foot and the boyfriend who can also drive it is worse than me!! lol!! not bad for a free tank of fuel either

I agree . . . the joys of having a TDI!
