Нi,
If you leave your dog inside a car, for what reason to close it? or the dog is very small?

As I know, U cant disable this sensors.
If you dont need it at all -u can cut it, and simply remove from the car

Press the lock button twice - this disables the interior sensors.

You'll know they're disabled as the doors will lock, but the LED in the driver's door won't blink

Hi,
I have a factory fitted alarm in my '03 130tdi sport ibiza.
The other day i tried leaving the drivers side window open and double pressed the lock button on the key fob, reached into the car and no alarm went off but all doors deadlocked and the led was flashing on the top of the door trim.

Reset everything left window open and pressed the lock button once on the key fob.Started to put my hand through the open window and all hell broke loose alarm and flashing lights.
On my car there is a little switch on the right hand side sidepanel in the drivers side footwell which i believe switches off the sensors.
Hope this helps.

It depends on the age of the car - the newer models don't have the disable button - my 06 FR didn't - on these cars you have to double press the lock button. Doing this disables the double-locking and the interior sensors.

Those with newer cars (without the disable button) double tapping their lock buttons are disabling half of the car's security features! Moral of the story - Read the manual!!

What model car do you have? They're not all alarm equipped

+1 05 plate no disable button. Have to double tap the key fob.

stick your arm in and wave it around. Motion sensors are near the interior light.

its 53 TDI Sport, it does have an alarm, i've heard it a few times :D

There was a problem with some earlier cars (like mine) where they had fitted a piece of gauze under the plastic housing that holds the interior sensor (by the central interior mirror). This gauze was supposed to stop smoke and dirt etc. from mucking up the sensor. Unluckily, it was actually a little too thick and was preventing the sensor from working. Solution is to pull off the plastic housing covering the sensor and remove said piece of gauze. Certainly worked for me.

It's possible to deactivate the motion sensor (permanent) with VAG-COM... go to module 46 and do the same (don't remember the name of the button) as when you want to activate a tone when you (un)lock it & blinkers on/off. A canals further you'll find the interior motion sensor and you can switch it off forever.
