how much should i lower it??

was thinking of gettin my ibiza lowered its a mk4 1.2 and just wondered what would be the best way of lowering. i was thinking of just getting lowering springs but i've been told to get shocks aswell ?

also what would be a good ammount to lower it i was thinking around 40mm?

I think most spring and shock combos drop the car roughly 30mm. I fitted coilovers to mine and have dropped the front 40mm and the rear 60mm

iv lowered mine all the way on rear which is 120mm plus cups out and the fronts about a 100mm BUT wouldnt do it im takin mine up after gti show.

thats around the mark that i want to lower it what. what type of coilovers have you got on it like?

FK Konigsports (my thread might be a bit long to look through lol). FK kits lower the rear more than other kits without having to remove the rear adjusters.

If you just want a small fixed drop (30mm) then I'd say go for a matched spring and shock setup. A lot of Fabia vRS owners use Eibach springs and Koni FSD shocks. If you want a bigger drop like mine then I'd say go for a good quality adjustable coilover kit.
