You Know You have a mk2 Ibiza When........

When you have an Ibiza that clearly has 2.0 16v on it but the clio that’s 4 up with 2 birds in the back still try’s to do you off the lights..

So I gave him a head start….a decent one at that……..and the 2 girls turned around and looked at me and started smiling….that’s when I put my foot down…the sound of the exhaust soon wiped the smiles off there face as I went past in second gear.

Happy days…..

i love when you pull up next to a mk3 golf gti (8v) and he's revving the balls of it trying to provoke a response...(thinking it's got a 1.0 lol)

then i give him one when the lights change, love their expression

i dont often rise to it in fear of getting more points but i am not letting a clio full of chavs get one over on us seat boys..

I had a similar thing the other night with a tarted up Chrysler PT Cruiser of all things, the guy genuinley must of thought he had a hot rod because he was revving it hard. I looked over at my mrs and she gave me the nod, 10 seconds later he was a spec in the rear view mirror. 8v pickup at the lights rules

They don't pick on my works focus for some reason either even though its not as quick as the GTi, maybe they just like to chance it against something they see as being sporty or superior.

mate i think mine has gone too, for past 2months lmao, but i cannot afford to change it at the moment!
how much do you think it would cost to fix (myself)? and what's needed (i know drill/dremal to get the sheared bolt out, and obviously a new pedal box)

hi guys, i have only owned my first beeza for around a month now, however reading this made me smile so much as i can relate to it all already lol.
especially the even though it wont start you still look at it and smile bit!

damn the loose connection on the starters exciter wire!, and the local speed humps for loosening it in the first place lol.

absolutely love the car, it is really stuff of ledgend in my eyes, how did i manage without it for so long?

i ain't too bad with it (and my uncles a mechanic who i have helped out since i was 11, so learned a few things, but pedal boxes weren't one haha)

yeah, the new box was £47 he said and he said it took them 3 hrs....Midland VW know i would take my cars anywhere else so he said he knocked a bit off.
