lol same at this end mate, i want to do it as i like the reassurance of knowing what it does if i have to turn straight off
ive got this problem as well. just noticed doesnt come on an nothing sounds, does the car have to be at a certian temperture or should it allways work? thanks
Hey Paul, the pump should work everytime. Even if you haven't driven your car all day and the engine is ice cold as soon as you put your key into the acessary position the pump will come on and continue to work for about 10mins.
mine defo doesnt work then, turned car on then an checked it, going to get voltmeter this week an see if it has a source, wonder how long hasnt worked for well better late then never to find a problem,
Yeah getting a volt meter is a good idea, mine turned out to be a relay. The relay is down behind the passenger side light (part no. 1J0 919 506K) cost about £100. Apparently my old one didn’t even have the pin marked for the secondary water pump on it!!

havnt got a feed mate so not going to work mate, need a feed before can work on motor
Also a quick way to see if your pump is ok is just hook it up directly to the battery, if its fine it will start working and you'll be able to hear it and also feel the water gushing around in the pipes.
