Pipe Identifcation Help

Recently discovered that the breather pipe coming from the right hand side of the engine (crankcase breather pipe) has a split in it. I managed to get hold of a replacement, went to fit it today and discovered the the pipe that goes down into is split as well.

I'm not sure what this pipe is though so i can get another, if Sheffboy doesn't mind i've borrowed his pic of the breather pipe (forgot to take a pic of mine ) and circled the pipe i'm after, if anyone could tell me the name or point me in the direction of a part number that would be great.

Hose itself is 13A for an AUQ engine = 06A103221AH

i think what you are on about is #9 but the diagram isn't the best to be honest

need to find a better pic

From the looks of the diagram 13a is the pipe that i've got a replacement for, but i can't tell what that joins onto on the diagram. I had a look in the engine bay and the pipe i'm after goes quite deep down and i can't really tell where it goes.

Why can't they make these things simple lol, cheers for the help so far mate.

the part number is S06A103221BH, should cost around £30.00 inc vat (price from francis seat in leicester).
The clips are a right b*****d to takeoff, just take your time because if you sslip you could damagae more hoses.
Replace the clips with jubilee clips, should take around 20minutes.

Right been having a look under the bonnet and at the piping diagram i think the pipe i'm after is what Fl@pper said, number 9. I gave the code what markgb posted to a guy at work and he rang seat but the guy said it was coming up as the same part i've already ordered (13a on the diagram), so need to check that again monday.

Depending if any more pipes are split i may end up just going the silcone pipe route or something, but will wait and see what i need.

I've replaced that pipe recently! its about as long as the pipe that attaches to it that spilts into two. The other end of pipe goes into a plastic/ rubber 'T' junction.

I ended up taking the battery out, box and everything so i could work on it.

This is the updated part number, just ordered mine from Bristol SEAT £29 inc VAT.
Went checking as i was getting a smell of fumes in the car as soon as i was stopped.

Can anyone actually state which part goes into the right hand side of 13A. The dealers think it is part 9A, but that appears to connect into 14. I was thinking that it was part 10. Its the pipe circled in red at the top of this post.

the part is #9A, the other pipes are for the likes of the audi tt, vw golf, and skoda octavia. had a 1/2 hr chat with the tech guy in seat cardiff.

has anyone got the part number for part 9a. and just to double check, this is the hose that connects to the 'T' junction and the other side connects up just behind and to the right of the dipstick????

Ive got similar problem, only hoses that arent damaged are the ones that stop me losing my brakes, i was thinking of sizing the hoses up and changing for silicon ones as im struggling to find a company that does the full lot for that part of engine,

I bought the upper breather, but just used straight length of 19mm silicone for the lower and plumbed it into the existing T-piece, as shown in my sig

I was just fitting a dv valve and also noticed pipe 13a is split. Does this have much affect on performance?

More of an oily smell in the cabin.

I changed it for a silicon pipe as it was a lot cheaper than an OE replacement.

I'd do it, as you don't want the crankcase 'open' to the atmosphere
