I got a Bluefin device for my 2.0TDI.. it may not be the most 'powerful' map compared to some others but being able to install it myself (and simple it is too) was a big plus.. lots of extra torque when you put your foot down!

How does that work then Toxic. Is it switchable in car to the desired map? Cheers and sounds interesting. Also how are you finding it?

If its £150 and reliable remap that has been tried and tested then at that price i dont mind if its not switchable really as well over half the price.

I know there are alot of arguments about these generic remaps but they are usually well researched before being sold due to the fact that if they cause problems then there will be alot of people coming back playing hell (not saying that a custom remap is not better as its setup exactly for the car, but that also depends on the fact that the person setting it up knows what the hell they are doing). Pros and cons to both sides if you ask me

Bluefin is very easy to install. You plug the handset into your diagnostic port, it takes a reading of your car. You then plug it into your PC and it uploads your map to Superchips who then send another map back to your handset a couple hours later. Then plug it back into your car and install the new map. Takes about 5-10 mins to install it. Once you've got the map from Superchips you can just install and remove it whenever you want as they are both stored on the handset, only takes 10mins max each time! :)

Just had Superchips Stage 1 remap and K&N panel air filter installed at Falkland Performance Centre, what a difference the acceleration is phenomenal, through's you back in the seat like an aeroplane. Can't wait till the roads dry out.Can thoroughly recommend Kevin at FPC what a gentleman knows superchips back to front and is willing to do a RR day for Seat Cupra.net members.[B)]
