Going to have a right go at the council. It was covered in water so didnt see it coming. Was doing about 50mph!

Cars looking good there Riko, if i were you, id hold out and go hybrid. If i could do things different i wouldnt bother doing the ko3s swap, dont get me wrong, it goes very well and spools up really fast and has plenty of poke, but with abit more cash you can get alot more power... and FUN!

Yeah I thought about holding out for the hybrid, but buying a house means I need as much spare cash as possible. I'll always have the K03 available at anytime for the hybrid. Plus Unless I take her for track days and the like 230 odd mules will be plenty for around MK. Brakes and ARB's are the main priority as I'm running standard calipers atm which are a bit too willing to fade and any1 who's been to MK will know only too well braking is a pain in the arse!

You NEED decent brakes here above all else - it's a gokart track near enough.

312mm TT/S3 brakes turn up on a fairly regular basis on edition so I'll get a set of those as they aren't expensive. I know you can't put a price on safety, but anything more are just a bit too expensive at the mo.

312mm and some DS pads should be fine

I seem to remember Bill saying to B3nny that standard calipers with ds pads and uprated disc will cope with even hybrid? He may be correct, but I think it's too much of a strain to risk...

Starting to tidy things up a little and managed to pick up a newly painted cupra bumper for a silly good price. Old one was looking tired and was full of chips and scrapes...

New one...

There's a dull patch on the bottom bar which I'm hoping is just over-spray, but haven't had the chance to give it a good clean yet.

I now have a spare bumper to toy around with...

Cheers! I'm looking to modify the old one with a big mouth and maybe smooth the bump strip over. Need to find out what plastic welding kits are available and what decent filler to use so that it doesn't crack etc.

Managed to change something else this weekend as it was badly letting the car down, I'll let the pics do the talking...

I've had the car year next month and this has developed beyond belief! Chunks are now falling off and basically leaving holes!

So off it came!

Managed to pick a gooden up from a breaker in Birmingham from a 1.4

De-wipered, looks soo much better and (hopefully) wont be needing it for the next few months!

Haven't managed to de-badge it yet or put the cupra spoiler back on, but should be done tomorrow and given a detail providing the weather holds out!

Oop, forgot I fit my new aero wipers which tidy the front up nicely!

She goes in for an MOT on tuesday so going to have her up on stilts to check everything over. Fingers crossed!!
