oh it was shocking! full tank would last around 120miles max! was doing about £15 a day! just to and from work 1 hour round trip sounded amazing and was well woth it tho

got the door rubbers and tailgate rubbers genuine from vw! that was with discount too so id look for some mint second hand ones if i were you

that can't be right surely? I had a mk3 highline with filter/exhaust and i could get 300 miles from a full tank on a run and driving carefully with the occasional bit of spirited driving!

what did the chip do for the engine?

thats what it was doing but that tbh was driving hard most the time! its all country side wherei am
the chip was on the ecu from the start so not sure but imo id stick to stock stock in most cases is actually better!
good £60/5 a tank when fuel prices were soaring!

maybe the cams were extra juicey i dont know

Did yours have a 45 litre fuel tank? thats really really bad 120 miles to a full tank even when absolutely hooning lol, you must have been giving it some!

yer my mates bought it think it was more like a fueling map problem but i didnt sort it so had heavy petrol bills still quickish and extra fun to drive!

Saw it at TSR Rolling Road day on Saturday 18th April! Had the front bumper/grill etc off and half the engine missing! Also had a slight fold that'd started to go rusty of the front passenger wing.....wonder what they've got planned for it?

its awesome mate, a completely different car to when the vr was in.
