What I've tried so far and no change:

1) Fitted new droplinks as I had shorter ones but changed them for standard length as they weren't needed.

2) Brand new top mounts went in with coilovers - got an offset 22mm spanner and checked the nut was tight and it is very tight.

3) Greased everything with lithium grease.

4) Brand new front and rear wishbone bushes

5) Brand new ARB bushes and checked the stops were still on.

6) Braking really hard from 80mph to 0 hoping something would bugger off

7) Driving really fast in a circle hoping something would break off and it would be fine again

8) Cried into my pillow shouting "I hate you car, I hate you!"

One thing I have noticed is that if I put the car into REVERSE, and go round and round backward full lock I dont get any noises lol.

Haha! I'm close to number 8!!!

ive got the same noise in my car after lowering it! mine isnt when im turning tho, just driving normally, so that leading me to believe it could be a worn bush somewhere!
i had the same thing on the drivers side ,so took it a part again and smeard copper greace all over the bearing now it's ok .but im going to replace all bearings to be on safe side

I had a cloncking noise on my passenger side. Only occured after I'd raised the front slightly when I fitted spacers.

Turned out the droplink was catching the arch when turning and making a banging/clonking noise. It never made the noise when I was lower:shrug:

Just trimmed the arch liner to cure it!

i was really uncertain about this! I fitted his coilovers to Phil Ni ibiza, but on test drive 400 metres up and the same back down the road it was find, phil has told me that this gradually started to make a noise and it got louder and louder, but it quiet's down if someone is in the passenger seat???????

mines done it since ive fitted the coilovers but i just ignored it as it was noticable but not that loud! very strange this indeed???

I remember having to cut out a hole in the arch from knocking noises... look for rubbing marks above the drop links!

Yup! As Phil said, I took him a test drive and it seems to be less noisey when I have a load in the car.

For example I had a full load last night and there was barely any noise at all!

So strange!

It seems to come and go, because today it's virtually silent.
