Fog Lights Advice Needed

Hello,

I have searched around for this topic for a while but can't seem to find any info on it (sorry if there are topics and I have missed them).

I have a ibiza mk4 1.4s 53 reg and have the standard bumper without fog lights.

Would it be possible to keep this bumper and pop or cut the blank plastic part, where the fog lights should be, out and buy a fog light one and put it in?

Also, does this car model have the wiring in there for fog lights?

Sorry to be a pain, but can the grills on this bumper be taken out and honeycomb style put in?

I have been looking everywhere but can't find any info on it. I would love to update the bumper but can't get the money together.

Any advice or help on any of these questions will be very much appreciated!!!!!!!

if your lights knob pulls out twice then it may be possible...however the wiring will have to be redone

on standard cars the fog lights are usually main beams, but i can't help you much more mate. as for the grills i believe so as there are members who have swapped them

The wireing is not there as standard, and I think the switch is only for a rear fog light (only pulls out 1 click). I think Seat make conversion kits to convert to front fogs but will probably be expensive. I suggest your best bet is a scrap yard for the fogs and switch then make the wiring loom yourself - it should be simple.

If you cant find the right light switch you could always mount a seperate switch under the dash?

I've got my sport bumper with foglight grilles etc lying in the garage...

P.S. I kept my actual foglights for the cupra bumper (though I think you can get other model leon etc to fit?)

What colour is the bumper?

Thanks for the advice guys! Think I am going to have to wait around for a decent priced bumper with fogs to come up somewhere, don't wana fork out for fogs on the bumper I have, didn't realise how expensive they are.
