opinion on leon 1.4 tsi

hi new to the site and going to view a 1.4 tsi leon sport tommorrow. just wondering every ones opinion on these. what kind of power do they put and are they tuneable?

125 Horses I think and yes they can be remaped, the new Ibiza cupra will be a 180 horse version of the same engine.

That's not correct,the Ibiza will have the twincharged(compressor+turbo) version of the engine.The 1.4tsi Leon has only a small turbo.It can be remapped at about 155-160 hp.

i am impressed with mine. great car. hoping to get a revo map put on it, should be about 150bhp then which is enough till i get some new brakes interior is now all gloss black on mine which is a great mod

i've had one of these as a courtesey car recently as mine had to go in (again!) & quite impressed. Power very linerear & MPG pretty good with a tall 6th gear for motorway cruising.

I have one and was going to sell it cant think what would put such a smile on my face for the same money and running costs.Fantastic car shame I couldnt say the same about SEAT UK and AC but thats another story.

I test drove one in a A3 and it really needed working and pushing hard to get anything out of the engine, it really did lack any torque too. IMO i think the 140 TDI would be a better drive.
