i was reading a tread on here the other day about a guy who thought is car was under powered from when he first got it. i always thought mine felt slow after in went in for a service a week after i bought it. i changed the DV and did a couple of other things but it never really felt the same. the guy said that he had diconnected his battery for 15 mins and that reset the ECU and the difference was great.

while cleaning today i thought i would id give it a go but didnt think it would make a difference...........ohh my frikin god, i think i must have been running on half power..... i now get pushed into the back of my chair...as i should,....i have been bouncing around like a kid since i did it this morning and the missus thinks ive gone mad but all o wanna say is

I LOVE SCN and all of its members

cheers guys

Might be worth geting it on VAG-COM to check for any error's.

Have you got a boost guage on it yet ??? If you have you'll be able to see if it's mapped.

is it true you get better MPG when they get mapped as well as the company pays me per mile? im not worryed about MPG hence buying an LCR not a Fiat Panda (hahahhahahaha) but getting a couple of quid extra for doing the same thing cant be bad.

i cant moan to much though as the company bought the car for me lol

They are good but I think the screens are a bit small and they are very expensive, A normall guage is about £20 you you can get VAG-COM fairly cheap, Dont forget you'll need a pod to hold the guage in aswell.

does an upmapped one usually spin in third a little even with the ESP on?

sorry for all the questions

cheers

Mine did'nt in the dry, the ESP should stop it from spining.
What tyre's are you useing ???

Those guages are nice but expensive and if you want a nomad piler pod to hold then you'll have to add another £50 to it

Have a look on Ebay for a copy of Vag-Com and the cable
