One word MARMITE.
I have the chrono yellow and have been told that the resale value will be less compared to other leons , but on the other hand if thats the colour you are looking to buy then you will be willing to pay the price , resale value on mk1 yellow a cars were not hit as much either.
My car has the side skirts and spoiler fitted and it looks stunning imho and turns heads everywhere , people are always looking and trying to see what make the car is.

i would never buy a silver car , common as muck and one of the most boring colours available imho.
So its up to you what you feel comfortable driving , its your own personel taste that matters no one elses.

Why buy new when you could have my 08 FR170 in Emocion Red with 18" alloys, just 1 year old with 9,000 miles on the clock and being serviced next week, for just £13500. The car is absolutely unmarked and is as good as new!

That seems high, was offered a Cupra in the same colour & spec for less in March before any negation.

In March all dealers had an additional margin of 6% to use as they wished, we now are back to standard dealer margins of 12.25% providing we hit all our targets for numbers and standards. In other words, sorry but you're wrong it is a bloody good deal, what other industry would only retain £380 gross (before PDi and valeting costs) on a near £20K sale.

If you don't fancy the Lumina Orange I've got a Speed Blue FR TDi with 18's, Passenger airbag disconnect, Convenience pack and Bluetooth, retail price £19,582 which would cost you £17,650. Depends which colour floats your boat!

I am down on the south coast, if you can come up with a plan and a px deal on my fr ibiza I would be veri interested.

Oh im not wrong by any means,
The Deal Discounted Price: £16940.41
Your Saving: £2040.10
Thats based on the same spec you quoted on. From experience ive always managed to get another 5% of that price too. If you had mentioned the price rises that have come in since March that may have helped your stance a little

Is it me or is there a little to much desperation & hostility in that coment or maybe Seat have trained sales staff that way:lol:

Wish to reevaluate your offer & attitude?[B)]

The deal is a new leon fr tdi (25 miles on the clock) with 18's, ipod and convenience pack in orange for £17.5k

I am between a rock and a hard place, I don't know if I should or not.

Is that a good deal?

They phoned me up at 09:02 this morning and it's now down to £17k and TBH I am Happy with that (I did the walking away trick and left them my number on saturday). The thing is, it's got no bluetooth

What do you guys think?

From what I've heard (mainly on this board, ahem), the Bluetooth kit is well worth getting. Several folks have said it's the only essential option. I recently had a choice between a FR TFSI in Candy White with Bluetooth and sunroof or another one with 18"s and Bi-Xenons in Black Magic. I've gone for the Candy White with Bluetooth.

The bigger display with some extra setup options for convenience stuff seemed to be worth it in itself and the easy phone connections with voice commands is the icing on the proverbial cake.

What do you guys reckon?

I will take my lappy and check to see what you all say when I'm round the corner from the dealer.

Wish me luck.

Ahh bum, the link doesn't work,

it can be retrofitted , Dan posted a guide on here somewhere ask the dealers to fit it as a deal clincher?
