Well, yesterday I took the LCR on a trip down to P-Torque for a Stage 1 map. Intentions have always been to keep it fairly simple performance wise and personal I feel this much power is good enough for what i need.
Will at P-Torque started off with taking it for a spin himself and upon his return started with "something doesn't feel quite right, are you sure it hasn't been mapped!" When I bought it, I bought thinking it wasn't and I was never informed any different, Will's reading in to this came from some bad surging i.e to a much as 20psi but only holding at 10psi, he though it could be a bad map or possibly something else a bit more untowards!
This led to me having to make the decision get it looked at mechanically and come back or hope the map rectified the
problem. Well the title now answers the choice I made!!!! Will has cleared a fault code which was showing EGT sensor - closed circuit which I will try and get another check on in a week to see if that comes back up put apart from that, nothing flagged up to what it could have been of the diagnostics, Will did in the end tweek something to do with the N75 saying this could be the
problem due to some fairly odd'ish readings so at the min im boosting to 25ish psi max and holding i think between 20 and 22, therefore a bit more than the normal stage 1 I believe.
Anyway, couple of pics below including a graph, the two lighter coloured (if u can make that out) smoother lines obviously being post map figures for torque and bhp.
