Hi Nev, its the guy that barely gave you a chance to get out your car at amd this morning before I stalkered you lol! How you finding the new map? My car feels totally different, had a massive grin all day! Found out it was running an extra 10bhp as standard, strange but good :)

willie, was better with a ramp, i removed the bottom stud from the turbo as the old pipe wouldnt drop down to come out, the top bolt on the turbo was a pain to get to and a socket and normal spanner didnt have enough room to loosen it so i chopped an S shapped spanner in half and that was alot easyer. might of been easyer to get to if i removed the charge pipe first.

the new one slid in perfect, took me about 3 hours to do, worth it though,

D.K and fox,
really chuffed, the power is spot on, pulls hard all the way round, amd tod me its a progressive map so will get more power after a few cold starts, not sure if thats the same for you guys, the exhaust on full chat is alot louder, really barks now. glad i didnt go for non res,

i had a big grin on the way home, thats it for power for me now, all done and happy with that, want to get it on the rollers in a few months to see if there was any improvment or not,

foxy, hope you enjoyed your ikea breakfest, although i didnt take the missus with me she still got me to buy a bloody plant, but then again i shouldnt moan as i didnt tell her the price of the map, lol.

Just read the WHOLE thread lol, fantastic car mate looks insane, did i read correctly that you had 30mm springs when your went to the ring? As im looking at lowering springs but still need to be practical, the height your is/was at at the ring pics look perfect.

Loving the DIY boost gauge vent, any chance you make these for people? :)

Lovely car, and a great journal. it looks spot on with the black wheel. Just noticed your just around the corner. Seems to be loads of LCR owners around this neck of the woods. (must be an essex thing).:D

Keep up the good work fella
