Hey guys, need help with one wire on my Mk4

I have one of these:
http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/active-aerial-adaptor-p-211.html

To boost the radio signal in my Mk4 Ibiza as the stock ALANA head unit has this built in, giving me bad signal on the radio when I'm using the radio. I have the aerial adaptor connected to the back of my radio and then to the usual aerial cable that is in the car. This is all good. I then have the other wire, presumably power connected to nothing. I am unsure where I need to attach this to to give my adaptor power.

This is a PDF of the Head unit I have, near the bottom is the wire layout. I have blue/white free and black/purple but not sure if I should use either of these to connect the wire to.

I have been told I may need one of these:
http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=1073

Which I can use to splice the 12v and attach this to the wire on the aerial adaptor.

If anyone can help I would appreciate it!

Connect it to the blue/white wire, use a bullet connector then it can be disconnected if you ever remove the stereo.

Dont use the power antenna wire. Use the remote live for a amp (blue and white one).

I used the power antenna wire at first when I fitted mine but there was no change in the signal, as if the signal booster was not working. Switched the wire to the remote live (blue/white) and it worked a treat.

i catch very good signal without a booster...as long as you're not far from a city/town the standard aerial should be good enough, although a booster will give you good reception practically everywhere
