Yeah we've done a few sets for Cupra owners running standard wheels. Usually either 15mm or 12mm rear and 10mm front or just 10mm rear.

Bit of a thick blonde question!!
What's the reason for fitting spacers, is it just for cosmetic reasons to make the wheels look like they fill the arches better?
Or is there some other reason/value/benefit to this?

Fitting spacers at the rear does make the car feel more planted but it's mainly to lose the gap from the wheel and the outside of the arch.

H&R ones are expensive but they're the best available and also come with H&R bolts which again are the best available.

I have a doubt!
I always heard that you shoudn't just use spacers on a single axe. Since that would change the suspension overall lay-out and at the same time especially if it wasn't the traction axle and if it would make it bigger than the traction axle on a FWD car.
The Leon has 1527mm at the front and 1508mm at the back. Those 19cm of difference allow to a being used a spacer between 10-15mm just at the back without making the rear axle bigger than the front. (As far as i know when such situation happens the back tends to break traction more easily...)
But then, just adding spacers at the back, won't it be a pita to keep the 4 wheel alignment inside specs?

front 1527mm and rear 1508mm, thats a 19mm difference in track from back to front. For me i need spacers on the front because of my brake calipers. to balance it out, i also got same sized spacers for the rear axle.
Hmm tempted to get a set of 10 mm for mine. What H&R ones shall I got for the one with the Radius bolts or Aftermarket ones as I have the Seat BBS Alloys on my car?

Standard wheels use radius bolts, aftermarket use the tapered but the easiest way to be sure is just to remove a bolt and check.
