Guys, it has occurred to me that many of us may have owned more than one SEAT. What SEAT cars have you owned in the past? I'll start off with mine:

First was an Ibiza Mk2 1.4 SE 3dr in Aosta Green, this was back in 1997 and unfortunately I don't have a picture of it.

Second was a Toledo 1.8 20v SE in Sovereign Red. This was in 2000:

Toledo3.jpg

After this came my first Cupra, a late X plate AUQ engined car with all the toys, electric memory leather, ESP, rain sensor etc. Forgive the wheels, this was in 2004:

TSWAirs3.jpg

I really, really regret selling that car but hey ho. Next came an almost identical Leon Cupra minus the rain sensor and the memory function on the leather seats:

I then took a break from Leons and went for a Mk4 Ibiza 1.9 TDi 130 sport:

When I had decided that diesels were slow, boring and generally cr*p, I picked up a Leon 20VT Sport which was very black to say the least. I was living in Germany at this point if you're wondering about the peculiar billboards:

This car turned out to be a bit of a dog so I got rid of it and played with a few Saabs and other such rubbish until I got my hands on my latest Leon earlier this year:

I don't fancy the Mk2 Leon very much so I'll be sticking with this one for the foreseeable future. It will either be replaced by a Mk 3 Leon when it arrives or I may just keep it forever and drive it at weekends.

Cool idea i like this! I haven't had many Seats I'm afraid, two to be exact so I'll use more pics to make up for it! But my journey so far consists of...

Ibiza Mk3 1.4 8v, VIBE edition!

First Seat was a 6-month old Arosa 1.0:

Then went onto a brand-new Ibiza 1.4 'S' in Black Magic
30tjct0.jpg

Then traded up for a pre-reg demo Ibiza 1.6 Sport in Vibrant Green
21dpeux.jpg

Then got a company car... couldn't stop there, so got a cheap Ibiza 1.4 'S' in Emerald Green
1qj2pz.jpg

Sold it shortly after for my Copper Ibiza 2.0 8v GTi Cupra Sport, which I've had for 6-yrs!

That car was for sale at my local Seat dealer about 4-6 months ago. Reason I remember it is the wheels and the plate as I enquired about an insurance quote for it.

They're TSW Air 17s. I lived in Edinburgh when I sold it. A rare beast indeed, a proper early Cupra with an AUQ engine. Nice to hear its still on the road.

A couple of other pics of the car in question:

:D I have on many occasions mate. I still haven't changed my mind :p

Nothing against diesels, I've owned 4 VAG PD diesels and driven countless others, they just don't float my boat in the way that a turbo petrol car does.

This thread needs bringing back to life, so here's my contribution:

1996 Toledo Sport bought as an ex-demonstrator
cTCooqr.jpg

2001 Leon Cupra (2000MY with all the toys). I wish I could find another set of these wheels now.
5HjiEn3.jpg

Traded the Toledo in for a 2002 Skoda Octavia RS (which we still own) and later traded the Leon in for a 2004 Mitsubishi Evo VIII, so we were without a SEAT for about five years.

At the start of this year I decided I needed a track project, so I bought a 1998 Ibiza GTI 16V
GSXsVnR.jpg

Having sold the Evo, I bought Empi5's lovely 2005 Leon Cupra R to replace it [B)]
AdUm2Sa.jpg

Now my daughter and my son both own Ibizas too

Back from the dead
Can't find picture of the wife's 1.0 Arosa (Silver) pre-facelift 'Y reg' , but that was SEAT number 1.

Then SEAT number 2 was the wife's blue SEAT Ibiza Mk5 1.2S. Can't find a photo of that either.

SEAT no.3 was mine when I switched from VW. Leon Cupra R on 53 plate. This car was specced to AmD stage 1 standards.
n701446013_214989_2455.jpg

SEAT no.4 was the wife's. We both used this as I sold LCR 1 to fund a house move. This car was Revo'd, but that was about it.

n701446013_214987_2019.jpg

Finally, SEAT no.5 was to replace my old LCR which I was missing badly. LCR no.2 rolled up in March 2005. Revo stage 2 on this baby, and boy she went!
n701446013_214988_2226.jpg

Given the state of the world, SEAT no.6 may not be too far away!

I bought this in October 2003 when it was 6 months old:

car4.jpg

Kept it until 2007 when I needed the money for a house move and decided my company could supply me with a vehicle:

navara1.jpg

My girlfriend changed jobs as well and lost her Octavia estate so we bought this (the car, not the garage :p ):

IMG_0425.jpg

Sue's company closed her office and offered her redundancy or an extra 30 miles either way to their other location so we changed the cupra to this:

I thought I had a decent SEAT history, but some of you guys have been exceedingly brand loyal.
