£1500, for hybridised turbo, what else would you need for this, surely £1500 for 285bhp isnt right?

You can send a k03 too. With supporting mods you can see 280-300bhp

High flow exhaust mani
FMIC
LCR/TT TIP
LCR/TT injectors
Air filter to suit

If you went for a uni FMIC then you could get one for ~£200.
Mapping - CC3 or Badger5 stage 3 is cerca £600.
LCR/TT TIP ~£100.
LCR/TT injectors - at a guess £200.
Miltek turbo back exhaust - cerca £700.
High flow mani - cerca £200.
Second hand k03 - cerca £50-100 then another ~£500 get it made into a hybrid.

No. You can send CR Turbos a k03 or a k03s to make into a hybrid. So buy a second hand k03 for next to nothing, send it off for hybrid treatment then sell your k03s once its all sorted.
You will make some cash back (k03s's go for £150-200) and it means you dont have to take your car off the road while waiting for your hybrid
And fitting is on top of all that too? Quite pricey when you factor that in
None of it is hard to fit if you can use a spanner. But if you aint that way inclined then yea, it would cost a few hundred £ for fitting too.
Turbos are easy to fit are they? I heard the manifold is a nightmare to access
I suppose to get a car that does 300hp it would cost alot more than £2000 anyway so it is worth it if you've got the cash
