£1500, for hybridised turbo, what else would you need for this, surely £1500 for 285bhp isnt right?

Its about £550 for CR Turbos to make your turbo into a hybrid. About £600 for mapping. Then you nees LCR/TT inlectors, TIP and MAF housing.
so i send them the ko3s, for 550 theyll hybridise it....
£600 to map
how much for the other parts and where from, than factor the costs of fitting i suppose..
so what power total, and costs am i looking at for this, looked at bennys thread....sounds interesting.
That would be roughly £1500 all-in Damo?
Yea, I was just pointing out that its not £1500 just for the hybrid mate
Sorry mate, I wasn't questioning you, just that I wasn't sure if you'd be able to pick that lot up for £1500.
I'm thinking of going for a CR Turbos K03S hybrid with mapping to suit, LCR MAF tube, bigger TIP, BAM injectors and a front mount cooler, hopefully that will be good for about 285bhp.
James,
Its the one that Benny just had fitted to his Ibiza. I think you actually send your turbo to them for "hybridisation" (is that a word?), with mapping its about £1500.
so guys can you dumb it down for me.... what mods id need ontop of the ones in my sig..
what parts id need etc etc
sounds interesting this...
why do people pay 4k plus for bt when this can be done for that price?
I'm going to do the same myself, I've a front mount already so on the look out for the rest of the bits needed.
I emailed CR earlier in the week, £495 to upgrade your own turbo, £695 for an exchange unit
Happy days Looks like my runabout Golf mk3 will be doing some miles
I must apologise to the OP, I seem to have taken this thread horribly off course
so for £1500 i could get the turbo done £495
mapped for £600
fmic £550
manny will be around £300
roughly how much are tt injectors and lcr tip
probably looking more like £2000
i may be wrong, am i?
why the k03, i have a ko3s on now, or are we talking flogging my ko3s?
And fitting is on top of all that too? Quite pricey when you factor that in
