:D Well it appears that I've sorted it!!! Just went out and put the standard DV back on (yes the crappy plastic thing) and took the car back and its all good!! Gonna get on to Forge about my 007p as only had it since April 08.

Well I'm no expert but your actual boost isn't spiking and settling like normal maps.
yours is peaking at 18 PSI and settling at 17 PSI.
So your actual is never meeting the requested which usually happens then the boost is rained in by the ECU.
This could point toward a boost leak but as I said I'm no expert
According to your MAF readings your cars BHP is about 240 BHP.
Did you get it RR'd before and after map?
I would start with changing the DV to a Forge one and take it from there

JS,

DV was already a Forge one and just changed back to standard as that seems to be causing the issue.

No didn't get it RR'ed with map as had the mobile custom code jobbie but thinking I need to get it back on the RR though.

Take a look at the springs you have, it will be easy to see which ones the next size (stiffness) up, try fitting that and see what happens.

I don't think it will be the spring that's in - green spring will hold the boost fine - just check that the o rings are in and seated right, the top one can come off it's seat easily.

Crap.....!! Spoke to soon just took the car for another spin and the lovely hiss and lack of umph that pulls you through the gears is back. Like I said before seems to be 4th onwards.

Not stupid at all any suggestion welcome. Thanks.

But now i'm really confused!! Swapped back to the Forge 007p and went out for another
drive for some testing and no turbo at all - nothing!!

So pulled over to find I had left the plug for the N75 vavle off so reconnected it and power seems almsot as good as before the problem although in 3rd through to 6th gear there is still this hissing sound like air escaping under high boost??

Confused?? I know I am! Have spoken to Mike at Custom Code and booking it in for them to have a look.

Did you find a solution? I think I might have the same issue! My MAF reading is also at 192 MAX, so around 240, the RR gave 242hp, so is seems like an okay comparison.

I have the BMC CDA-SP12, which I think is making that sound! May'be it the filter thats to restrictive?

Run with a large open cone filter (Jetex, Green), enclosed systems are restrictive.

Fuel trims and Lambda will show a minor boost leak better than MAF reading. Log block 031 and 032. My LC is now boost leak free and flowing 190g/s thanks to DPJ highlighting this for me.

I'm not an expert by any stretch of the imagination but having had a boost leak on my car I can talk from experience.

Using VAG-COM, log blocks 115 and 031 together. Then log blocks 118 and 032 together.

You're looking for any deviation in the "Run o2 Adapt" field in block 32. It should be the same number throughout the rev range. If its not, there is a difference in how much air is passing the MAF and how much is getting to the cylinders. Block 31 Lambda factors will drop to show that its running rich if you have a boost leak.
