Having just purchased my new LCR, I am in the process of ordering a Forge 007 Recirc valve but want an induction kit of some sort to go with.

tbh, I am bit of a chav and love the sound KnNs makes, I previously had a typhoon kit on my 1.6 16v Golf and loved it!

Any reccommendations in which you'll get sound and better throttle response etc.

Cheers

The sound is not exclusive to K&N. Its just induction roar and you'll get that with any open cone filter. They're all pretty much the same, just make sure you don't over oil the filter or it'll be time for a new MAF sensor.

sorry havnt tried either. should be fine though. only issues with induction are over oiled filters and badly fitted ones allowing for vibration/ movement as this can knacker the maf sensor.

If you must have an enclosed system then the K&N Apollo is the one to have, doesn't give off much sound though but costs around £120. £180+ for an induction kit is ridiculous, buy a K&N cone filter for £40, sounds awesome and performs great.

Avoid the BMC (very restrictive) and foam filters (too oily).
